Opium: restaurant by day, beach club by night
Opium sits on the Passeig Marítim, facing Barceloneta beach, between Shôko and the Port Olímpic. You go down the stairs to sea level into a main room for around 3,000 people, with stages, walkways and VIP areas, and a huge terrace just a couple of metres from the sand.
The music is all about dance hits, house and EDM mixed with current commercial tracks, with some hip hop and R&B on certain nights, and big international DJs on the line-up. It opens every night of the year and gets packed after 1am, so the Opium guestlist is the smart way in: free entry and the cut-off time in your pocket before you leave home.
How to get to Opium
Opium is on the seafront promenade, next door to Shôko. The closest metro stop is Ciutadella | Vila Olímpica (L4), about ten minutes on foot. At closing time there are always taxis along the Passeig Marítim.

Beat the cut-off
Free list entry has a closing time. It's in your confirmation; after that the club may charge entry.
Dress code
Smart casual. No running trainers, flip-flops, swimwear or gym clothes.
Bring your ID
Original passport, DNI or NIE. It's 18+ and no ID means no entry, even if you're on the list.
Sign up as a group
One form for everyone. Big group? A VIP table might work out better: just ask.

Yes. Signing up costs nothing and there's no upfront payment. If a special night has different conditions, we tell you before confirming.
What's the difference between the guestlist and a ticket?
The guestlist is free but only valid until the cut-off time. A ticket is paid through Fourvenues and guarantees entry whenever you arrive. See tickets.
What time does the list close?
It depends on the night and the event. The exact time comes in your e-mail confirmation. Leave some margin: there can be a queue.
Is Opium open every night?
Yes, Opium opens every night of the year. It usually closes around 5am from Sunday to Thursday and 6am on Fridays and Saturdays. Pick your date in the form and we'll confirm if there's a list that night..
Can I book a VIP table at Opium?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp with the date and group size. You only pay the minimum spend.
