City Hall: an old theatre built for electronic music
City Hall sits on Rambla de Catalunya, a few steps from Plaça de Catalunya, inside an old theatre that still keeps its red velvet curtains and high ceilings. It has been refitted with a light and sound system built for electronic music, so the room feels both classic and loud in the best way.
Most of the week it’s house, tech house and techno with local and international DJs, and some nights there are urban sessions across its two rooms. Being the most central club in the city, it gets busy: the City Hall guestlist is the easiest way in, because you skip the entry fee and you know the list cut-off before you leave home.
How to get to City Hall
It’s the easiest club to reach in Barcelona: get off at Catalunya (metro L1 and L3, FGC and Rodalies) and you’re at the door. Perfect if you start the night with dinner or drinks in the Eixample or the Gothic Quarter.

It depends on the night and the event. The exact time comes in your e-mail confirmation. Leave some margin: there can be a queue.
What music do they play at City Hall?
