Luz de Gas: a classic music hall that turns into a club
Luz de Gas is a lovingly restored old music hall in Sant Gervasi, with chandeliers, classical friezes and a stage that has hosted international artists, jazz festival nights and tribute concerts. It’s one of the most elegant rooms in Barcelona, and it feels different from any beach or warehouse club.
When the concerts end, the room becomes a club from around midnight, usually from Wednesday to Saturday, with themed nights like 80s and superhits parties. Each night has its own conditions, so the Luz de Gas guestlist is the easiest way in: free entry and the cut-off time for your night in your pocket before you leave home.
How to get to Luz de Gas
Luz de Gas is on Carrer de Muntaner, just above Diagonal in Sant Gervasi-Galvany. The closest stop is Gràcia on the FGC line, a short walk away, and Otto Zutz and other uptown clubs are nearby if you want to keep going.
